The Christchurch Symphony Orchestra is nationally recognised and locally celebrated for delivering unforgettable musical experiences. As Christchurch’s premier symphony orchestra, we deliver a full and varied concert season, collaborating with touring artists, arts organisations, & the Royal NZ Ballet.
Through our In the Community Ki te Hapori programme, we bring music to schools, civic events, & more making live music accessible. We champion NZ talent by commissioning and performing works by local composers, earning us the Arts Access Aotearoa Community Award & a gold award at the New York Festival Radio Awards.
