Hollywood Theatre

Hollywood 3 is situated in the seaside suburb of Sumner, Christchurch.

The cinema opened in 1938 as a single cinema with “Wings of the Morning” starring Tyrone Power. The cinema was twinned in 1976 and tripled in 1999. It is the only suburban cinema in Christchurch still standing and still running after 75 years of operation.
