If you have an accident, injury or illness that needs urgent medical care, you can just walk into our central Christchurch clinic any time. No appointment is necessary. We are open 8am to 8pm, 7 days, including public holidays.

  • Our Urgent Care Clinic provides comprehensive medical and nursing services for accidents, injuries and urgent medical issues.
  • We have x-ray facilities, a fracture clinic, pharmacy and physiotherapy onsite.
  • No appointment is necessary. You will be assessed by a nurse as soon as possible after arrival and then seen by a doctor in order of priority.
  • Treatment of open wounds (e.g. cuts requiring stitches) under ACC is provided FREE
  • Treatment of children under 13 years old is provided FREE

Sports Injuries

At Moorhouse Medical Centre, our focus is to ensure that sports players get quick, effective treatment and rapid rehabilitation. With doctors, nurses, X-ray, pharmacy and physiotherapy all on site, Moorhouse Medical Centre is the place to go for sports injuries.
