Stellar was designed as a fine up-market restaurant, but after its first opening, Stellar changed its marketing strategy aiming to offer a better price for the top quality of service and food STILL in a fine dining atmosphere. The restaurant is modern but friendly. You will be surprised when you discover the fine surroundings. Chef Kevin is also the owner and works full-time in the kitchen to ensure top quality for each of his dishes. He has over 7 years kitchen experience as master chef and owned 3 restaurants in Christchurch and North Canterbury. He loves to travel and learn about different cuisine and then blends the new ingredients for his creative food. He always updates himself with the market trends and visits the North Island and even Australia for new food ideas.
