Terrible service here today from a sour faced woman who did not smile. I had to ask for the control for the massage chair and the chairs are old and not very comfortable. Old shabby equipment in the salon and staff trying to upsell when they are not happy that you just want a basic toenail polish pedicure. Disappointed in service but toenails and gel polish look good. Shame I felt they just pushed my feet around instead of asking. Won’t be going back again

Most horrendous experience I have ever had at a nail salon. The nail techs kept talking and laughing with each other in their own language, did not speak to me at all just pushed and lifted my feet when I needed to swap them (went for a pedicure). Only went today and the polish is already peeling off. My nails are crooked, like cut in a diagonal shape. Also told the tech that she needed to be careful with one of my feet as had ankle surgery 3 months ago she kept grabbing where my scar is and I couldn’t tell her because she was too busy talking to her friends in another language. So rude which I would have let slide if my nails looked good but they look crap. Definitely won’t be back and don’t recommend

I went to the hub branch in Christchurch, the woman who did my nails was constantly on the phone talking to people in her own language, didn’t engage with me at all! I’ve been having my nails done for years it was the worst experience I’ve ever had and the place was dirty too!

I’ve been going to get my nails done in this location for about seven years. Had a couple of bad experiences usually when the owner has done my nails. But the other staff have always been professional and have done a wonderful job. Unfortunately they have seemed to have all left which has only left the owner and some amateurs. Very disappointed and was charged extra for no apparent reason.

Exceptional service and great nails had mine done twice now. Very impressed I’ll keep going back to them for sure. Manager makes sure leave happy.

Visited the Hornby shop today for a simple manicure. no polish. Have been going to this salon since it opened. Was told it would be 5 mins wait, was 15 mins, others taken before me that were also walk ins. Shop very untidy. My person continually getting up to see other people at counter Not impressed, doubt I will be back. Another customer next to me felt the same way, 1.30 appt, and was still there at 3pm. Sang needs to concentrate more on her image at the Hornby store, and maybe put someone in charge that knows how it should be run.

Waited ages for my pedicure, but that was OK because I did have plenty of time. The shop is looking so untidy, scruffy, and not very clean. Furniture is very worn. I’m actually surprised that Hirnby Mall allows one of their shops to get like this. I sat back to relax but all the time the staff chattered loudly in their own language. Very disappointing

First time trying this store, I have to say one hour after pedicure my feet were exactly the same, dry, cracked heels and pads. No extra filing on my heels, one day after you wouldn’t guess I’d had a full pedicure yesterday. My usual pedicure I walk away with no cracked heels, no dead skin. Very dissatisfied.

When arriving had so many sheets to look at and decide which colour wanted. Hard to do when young girl doing my nails. All your girls were laughing and talking so loud in their own language. VERY RUDEWould be nice if they could converse with client.
